Not Here

Not Here

A Poem by Kelli Wyatt
"

9-3-11 10:27 p.m.

"
You're everywhere.
Every night you come to visit me.
Every glimpse of myself you're beside me.
Every conversation,
You're there laughing with me.
But when I need you most,
You disappear,
Never to be seen again.
You're everywhere,
But you're not here.

About
I started writing free-form poetry in high school. Most of my poems have darker themes - those are the personal ones. If they have a lighter theme, chances are it was a contest prompt of some sort. .. more..
