Streets

Streets

Down these streets
they travel.
How silly they seem,
I should think,
that they never look up.
How silly they seem,
always avoiding
the other's gaze.

And when they get home,
the silly creatures,
they complain about
their
lonliness.

About
I started writing free-form poetry in high school. Most of my poems have darker themes - those are the personal ones. If they have a lighter theme, chances are it was a contest prompt of some sort. .. more..
