Reflective Demise: The Memory that Burns Alive

Reflective Demise: The Memory that Burns Alive

A Poem by Hello, Goodbye
"

A Continual Residual Memory of Unwanted Imagery

"
I think about it everytime, theres nothing that can save me
I feel like i wanna die, weeping like a baby
Every time i close my eyes, I want death to take me
Morning I wake up alive, filled with every memory

Here we go we go again inside, emotions that inflame me
Mania fills every vain, insulin of anger

And every time I look inside.. I see memories revitalize

And every time I look inside.. I see imagery alive

Everyone look alive, too many eyes its danger

You cannot show whats inside, must bury in a chamber

The fire in that chamber, vitality is no stranger

That fire it is danger, burning up the arranger

That fire it is burning, killing the arranger

A fire that will kill, the spirit of the stranger

Can we say lets just die? Let the burning simmer
Burning till the sparks forever dies.. killing every glimmer
Can we say its just a lie? And let the light dimmer
Cause everytime I close my eyes.. Every memory shimmers

And if we leave its alright

And if we love its alright

But if we die its alright

Rather be blind, than forever cry

Cause everything I look inside..

Yeah everytime I close my eyes..

I see the actions of our lives..

And it screams feelings of demise..

this was intensely sad - as if the anger of all the injustices in this life are being swallowed and subdued - for the same beauty of sensing love and happiness offers a contrast of loss, deception and greed - it hurts my core to see good hearts go through times where their brilliant spirit is shattered but somehow these very people become the light of the world when they face the realities of the earth - it is not heaven or hell...the mind is.

This is incredibly sad and bold at the same time. It exudes anger, loss, fear, even anguish and really pulls the reader into that emotion.

Such realisation! The trials of life and the thoughts and dealing with them are never plain sailing and nothing is black and white...many shades of grey lay in-between! Awesome work as always love! xoxo

This was amazing- the rhyming and the rhythm was perfect, and the metaphors and words you used really illustrated the mood. I particularly loved

"And if we leave its alright

And if we love its alright

But if we die its alright "

and the message that ensues
