'A Fiery Furnace to Acquire Absolution '

'A Fiery Furnace to Acquire Absolution '

A Poem by Hello, Goodbye
"

.. the fire burns to gain clarity..

"
Fire used to purify..

The flames they consequently  consume

Cauterizing the compulsions

Incineration to an everlasting fume

Fire cremation to attain tranquility

The flames divulge and they unveil

A new perpetual prosperity

A burning condition.. liberation of the frail
- despondent-dreamer -

flames are an oddity in that they often kickstart and end something - the cleansing attribution to them here - the cremation to attain tranquility was a great allusion - the burning condition - nice!

The rhythm of this piece is great. Its sort of drifts the reader along and adds to the overall meaning of the poem. I especially like the contrast at the end "a burning condition... liberation of the frail". Beautiful

Wow! Yes...the cleansing of such an element is always to be admired and with its raw power and energy comes liberation to a degree....I love this hon, never do you fail to impress me! Hugs xx

Your visions of fire confess the life of flames to burn away that which is weak and sickly.. to purify glass.. and lives as well. Stunning, striking write.

you have a very natural flow to your writing. you pulled off a heavy message in this piece in so few words--nice work

I went through one of those today, and I was almost burned alive. And the funny thing, the environment itself is far colder than the purifying fire described in this excellent piece. As the old saw, fire and ice, fire and ice.

Nice work for sure.

This say so much in a few short lines which is hard to achieve. You have done and excellent job at making your readers think.
