When light is driven into my essence, 

I commence a flow of eternal glee. 

Yet then its swallowed by the darkness, 

Of my poisonous malignancy.

awesome! maybe it is just the poinnt i'm at, but i really am getting big on haikus and short, rhythmic statements--i think they are more profound, less unassuming than some of these image-laden pieces that can be more confusing than inspiring. and i can relate 100% to what you're saying here.
