Innocence Lost

..there it is..

When I say..

That my heart feels a different way

And I pray

Because the day

It looks blue but the sky's really gray

When I say..

Different places.. Different times..

Its never going to be,

Like I have always wanted

When I see

That the sun is only shinning for me

I feel free

Money tree..

It seems good but I just want to flee

When I see

Never will it be, 

Like my heart desired

I wrote this nearly a decade ago.. it was simple but I enjoy its recurrent theme and rhyme scheme.. :)

Again I have to concur that the rhyming scheme is simple but that was what I enjoyed about it. It was a relaxing read, nothing too difficult to understand but still able to provoke thoughts.
