Sleep Deprivation

Sleep Deprivation

A Poem by Hello, Goodbye
"

..working the graveyard shift..

"
There is nothing like being dismembered

By a sleep deprived bender

Making your mind flaccid and tender

Discombobulation.. memories not remembered

Its not always entirely pleasant

Im not gone but sure I am not present

Its a lucid haze that is incandescent

I feel over worked.. Man I feel like a peasant

I love how this poem just seems to flow, and it does seem like the musings of a sleep deprived person on the job.
Love the rhyming language
