Morbidly Weird

Morbidly Weird

A Poem by Hello, Goodbye
"

..The Joker of Angels..

"
I had a hallucination.
The type that you have in your sleep.
It was purely about terror.
Where your skin crawls and it creeps.

I was a man called "Evil Apple"
And I killed people for free.
I would kill them with my laughter.
Blood that poured merely from glee.

My image was of darkness.
A pale face, green hair that would spring.
And I looked like "The Joker of Angels".
Black wings and eyes dark green.

So....

I stood in the middle of a park
Where families congregated in peace
And I chuckled a small laughter
That brought the "Evil Spirit Beast".

You see.. When I expel laughter.
Animals of fear, attack each soul.
Bringing terror to the mind.
Stealing all emotional control.

So each mind became chaotic.
And the end became conclusive.
They drowned their bodies in the river.
And hands became infinitely abusive.

And when my mind saw the terror,
And the beast driving people mad.
I was overjoyed by my machinations,
But then a "Small Girl" became sad.

She looked at me with sadness,
For I was her greatest fear.
As my laughter grew much stronger,
Her father's image became clear.

I could see his total madness,
For what I was doing to his child.
The disturbance of his children,
Is the phobia he most reviled.

So then my hallucination,
Came to the end of its show.
When the father became a "Dove of Light",
And disappeared me with his glow.

And when I became awake,
I knew that I had learned my true fear.

My mind is my greatest phobia,
I have dreams that are "Morbidly Weird".

There are shades in this poem about the borderline mania that resides in each of us or at least in our deeper consciousness. The darkness that you portray is a true reflection of the sub consciousness trying to repent for some misdeed in the past and haunting you in the process..It could even be a psychotic breakdown down the road.
The human mind is the most complex place on Earth and this is a bit of un-Earthing it..Well written in terms of the inner layers through your evident horror picture images..Good Work!! and like the touch of black humor too

for me it was a surreal romp between the original man's madness for a taste through wild jokers cavorting in seas of Armageddon's slips of tongue while planets collided with emotional streams streaming terror~ a saviour from breastbones~ shadow underlands of wonderlands in glorious surreality~ breakfast with a cinnamon twist of mind bending wonder~

wow, this is hilarious, the concept and briliant in execution,
one of the more entertaining poems writers cafe has to offer,
i'd suggest to any reader to read this slowly, because it has a great messege
but the apple green hair, is hilarious, an all around excellent job.
