Loneliness

Loneliness

A Poem by zee

Loneliness is all around me

Like an island surrounded by the sea

No one to talk to and nothing to do

I just sit around and wait for who?

As I sit here doing nothing the birds can see

What has been washed up by the big beautiful sea

There's a young lady all alone by herself

The birds swoop down to try and offer some help

As they get near they realize they can't do a thing

That lonely lady is probably an amazing being

Of all the people in the world why does it have to be me?

Who's lonely like an island surrounded by the sea

I'm not sure how you link in with the 'young lady'. I am also not entirely sure why there is loneliness when there are helpful birds.

I like birds.
