Definition of First and Second Generation:

First Generation: The closest related wolf species to the sun god Amaterasu. It is as if they are part God. They can use the celestial powers as well as their own elements. 

Second Generation: They are the second closest related wolf species, but they cannot control the celestial powers only elements. They are also not part God, so in all reality, they aren’t very related to the sun God, Amaterasu.
