How You Know You're In Love?

A poem I created while I couldn't sleep

How do you know you're in love with someone?
How do you know how it feels?

Well if you have butterflies in you stomach

And you feel like you're going to blow

Then you know

You're in love with someone

If you heart starts to race and you cant breath, and you feel like without them you cant

keep your life straight

Then you know

You're in love with someone

When you're angry or sad and you feel like nothing can make you better, but then you

see their smiling face and you feel surprisingly a lot better

Then you know

You're in love with someone

When you'll do anything for that someone even sacrifice something you didn't want to

then you know

You're in love with someone

Oh yes its true, when I see you its hard to explain how i feel

But thats because all these facts that i've listed above are all jumbled up inside me

on one giant wheel

You've got me wrapped around your finger

like a fishing hook and a real

and just know that when ever you need me

you just need to pull me a little

and i'll be there

Because I love you dearly

and always have.

Just a poem I wrote because I couldn't sleep. Sorry for any sloppy grammar or anything that doesn't seem right, its 1 in the morning and I am very tired but I wanted to write this down before I forgot it.

What a sweet little poem you have here! I always enjoy reading joyful poems or just ones with a happy tone because I usually see and write depressing/sad poems. I like your simile about the fishing hook and the reel. It was creative and actually fit really well. Nice job! :)

I Love how you talked about love,and how we feel when we fall in love! I love the words you use in this poem as well! It may need a little but of polish, since you wrote it in midnight, come back again, and edit a bit :)
I love the last line ' always be', the key to love :D
