Chapter 2A Chapter by zelly60This is probably going to be really, really short. I didn't really start writing long chapters until just recently. As soon as Wren walked into the living room, Wren knew she should have walked over to her friend's house. If she had any real friends anyways. She didn't know. Nobody really talked to her anyways, well except for Jasin, but that was a different story all together. She only talked to him out of necessity, which to her was nearly all the time oddly enough. "Ah, Wren, you're here. Please sit, we need to speak to you," A man said. He was sitting next to another man. Both were dressed in suits. Wren was extremely confused. Why were they here? She had no idea, but she had a feeling that it had to do with what Jasin was talking about earlier. Wren sat down next to her parents, who were in the room. They scooted to the side as if she had a contagious disease. She didn't understand, they had never done this before. "Dad, Mom, why are you doing this? Don't you love me?" She asked. "Get away from me you... you demon child!" Her mother shrieked. This was odd behavior, especially for her. "Wren, we discovered that from birth, you've had the ability to walk through walls and create fire. This may be the reason your parents are upset. Excuse me, I'm so sorry, I forgot myself. I'm Professer Rainsmill and next to me is Proffesor Windran. We're from a boarding school in Massachussets." Proffesor Rainsmill said. Wren looked at them and laughed. "I'm seventeen, you think I can walk through walls?" Wren said. She thought they were crazy. "If you think otherwise, try walking through that wall." Professor Rainsmill challenged. Wren stood up and walked to the wall. It was the wall which connected the living room to her bedroom. She knew she was going to regret this. She closed her eyes and walked through the wall. She didn't feel anything. She opened her eyes and found she was in her room. She was amazed. She wondered if she was going to go to the school that Jasin was going to. She kind of hoped not. "Fine, I'll go." She said when she returned. "Good, let's go." Professor Windran said. As she was walking out the door, she turned to see her parents looking at her as if she were crazy. At that moment, she knew they had disowned her. © 2008 zelly60Reviews
