Stanza.

Stanza.

A Poem by Zelda Gin

1.
you talked to me, stranger
what do you want, decipher?
thought the night might never be last
and I am just a bad joker.

2.
we barely talk
but sometimes
I choked up inside
like your mind
read the deepest of my words
like your favourite quotes
are same as mine.

3.
you are a chink of light
in my mind
and you are more
than those echoes
of our memories
you don't have me
but you own moments
of us.

4.
sometimes I feel
my laziness, your laziness
become the unspoken acceptance
in your cozy place
thank you
for letting me know
that it exists.

5.
I hope
my quiet sincerity
will leave you
the final words
that'll always be
"I'll stay"
even if you are the sea.
