Dark crows converge, protesting loudly, but God ignores them, Inanely murmuring towards a spoon, under the stars.
Fluorescent lamplight soaks into the sun-warped road, black tar Still warm from the onslaught of afternoon, under the stars.
Unhinged dear leaders trade belligerencies while the world Observes the twitterverse explode too soon, under the stars.
You left, and now we live alone in isolated spheres. Asleep, we drift through life, are unattuned, under the stars.
The broad Moreton Bay Fig is mother to a multitude; A living constellation, swaying boon, under the stars.
We turn our backs on mortality’s face, embracing life; Forlorn, death dreams of darkest honeymoon, under the stars.
A satellite observes us all alike; rotating specks That live and die as the Earth rounds the sun, under the stars.
