The trees

today, the treetops

caress the sky

as lovers do;

fingers tracing

invisible trails

of pure adoration,

and the sky blows

over them,

soft and warm.

Another sweet, loveable and gentle poem. I think it's admirable how you balance your ability to write dark and soft, blissful things. I like the comparison in the first three lines, it's really creative and thought over, enjoyable read.

Thanks, Jacob. Mutual love is a beautiful thing. I seem to have this thing about the trees loving the sky, but when you see them sway in a light breeze...that's a beautiful thing too.
