Velvet

Velvet

A Poem by Zugzwang

The death-voice

Whispers,

Delicate, graceful susurrations

In the corners of consciousness,

Are never far away.

They promise the soft

Dark beauty

Of impenetrable

Velvet

Black.

Deathly and annihilating but beauty encased in the words.

Thank you, River. Even death can be beautiful in its own way.

Dark and soft all at once again. My mind veils in your words, nice one.

Thank you so much. I'm glad you appreciate the weirdness!

I do always appreciate weirdness ;)
This poem for me is the ultimate in sex and death -- the best combo, although few like to admit it.
