Dream Journal

To get to the bottom

Of things.

On the weekend,

I recorded a dream

That was so disturbing that

I haven’t been sleeping well.

Ha, excellent. This is so believable. Reminds me of a crime show over here called crimewatch, where they re-enact crimes in gruesome detail, then at the end of the show they say, remember - don't have nightmares. I probably wouldn't have if they hadn't suggested it.
I like the humour and irony of your writing, great job.

Don't have nightmares, eh? Now that's a good closing line! Doesn't sound like the kind of show I could watch for more than a couple of minutes- they give me bad dreams too!

very clever piece....curious as to what was in that journal....yes, so curious----the more we analyze ourselves and look for answers, i think the more upset and confused we get.

Well, what can I say....let's just say it was one of those dreams you can't forget, even though you want to. The deeper I go into the rabbit hole, the harder it gets...
