Sea Rain

Sea Rain

A Poem by Zugzwang

It’s raining out at sea.

Dark clouds grumble, heads together,

Voiding diagonal grey streaks

Over the shining gun metal ocean.

How long before it hits?

I have no wet weather gear

And today I’ll run far.

I think I’ll risk it.

"Sea Rain"
zugzwang,
"dark clouds grumble, heads together" What an expressive picture!
"Over the shining gun metal ocean"
This line too is a fitting explanation of not only the cost of running as you see the rain approaching but also the cost of living in life's challenges.
I found this poem of yours a good poem to ponder.
Blessing to you.
