"Clouds" is a big question. We are imprinted with them; doubts and wonderment, dissatisfaction and unrest.............Nature pulls at we people and I love how you switched the focus.....Do clouds look down idly at the earth and wonder at the succession of forms endlessly drifting past? I write about nature and have not written anything just like this. Love it for sure.

Yes, I did like it. I just couldn't help but think of the mass of humanity on this earth that ponder and process our lives while looking up at the sky. Your switch of this process just tickled me!

Thought provoking..... & if they do - do they also complain to one another about the shadows the forms cast?!?

They may well do! There are clouds in Australia today. I wrote this in a fit of whimsy inspired by a stray thought: is it the clouds that move or us? That's what I love about poetry. You can write dumb stuff like that and somehow it can work.
