Salvage

Salvage

A Poem by ZeeArsonist

you're holding the past in a sifting pan
swirling s**t murky water
searching
for a stone left un-thrown.

you might be hopeful

knee-deep in disguise
but a thrown rock

is a thrown rock
…even your Jesus wouldn't forget.
