Objective CharlieA Story by AmberA boy and his love for BattleField 4 on PlayStation.
Gun fire rang out from all around, he hit the deck taking cover under some near by brush. The burst of aimless bullets stopped and it was now or never he had to move or be taken out by a mortar. Doing a quick scan of his surrounds and finding no enemy in site, he ran for the hill and army crawled his way to the top, keeping his body as low as possible.
Click, click, click, the repetition of the faint scraping click reminded him how pertinent it was to the mission to hold his ground, to defend this land, to fight for his country, his side. moving slowly around the base to keep an eye out for the enemy he waits patiently for the ticking to cease. Suddenly static comes on over his radio, "Objective Bravo has been neutralized." Half way there, the colonel thought to himself, not misstepping once. Keeping a calm and level head he secured the objective and moved on to Objective Charlie where he knew not what lay before him. Rounding his first corner amidst an abandoned tank he blew the head off of one Private Mailer of enemy territory using his second favorite the M416. Damn! Should have knifed him, hind sight propelling his thoughts, he turned around slowly to find an enemy barrel locked onto his head. Eyes shut, he pulled his trigger finger -a life dependent action- and killed yet another hostile enemy. Bee doo doop, bee doo dah, bee doo doop. Music began to fill his head, his vision was fine but music echoed in his ears, No! This can't be the end of it, this is not how I got out, I am not ready to be done, he thought as his head rattled to the beat. Static could be heard in his helmet as the music continued to build. "Objective Charlie --"
