Honey Wick Lights

Honey Wick Lights

A Poem by Amber

To write today would be but a missed fortune
It calls for focus, attention, and time
Distractions are not allowed I have too many
Silence detours my concentration television on
Imagination not stunted just placed on hold
To appreciate someone else's creation
My body aches -stiffness and pains I feel
I may not have much time I write for no tomorrow
Which leaves me to say I did nothing today
but wrote and rewrote this poem
