ShadowA Poem by z.chériCompanions
Skin and bone,
rotting tragedies. For a moment I believed in you again. Moscato filled lungs, burning throat and lost problems. We turned into the ones we saw down the avenue. I trailed behind you, following your every shadow. A puppet, holding on to the strings for it all. Never in the daylight. Congratulating your hard work; though I was the puppeteer. How could I be both? You were the moon and I was the stars; I needed you to shine but without me, what beauty are you? © 2018 z.chériAuthor's Note
