Funny how, even when you are far away, some people you've chosen to get close to you can have such a pull. Such a draw. That without being there they still have this power over you. They can guide all the event of your day as surely as they were sitting in the car with you.
I don't think that kind of thing is something you can really walk away from. I think we stumble from it. We limp away from it. Occasionally we find crutches, but we still limp. And later, when we walk upright and fine again, your walk will still be affected. There will always be a story you share with only a few people, and a scar you show to even fewer.
To quote 30 Rock....
"It's not over. It's not over until you can pick up the phone and say I don't love you anymore. And they say they don't love you anymore. And then you say great, I'll pick you up in ten and we can grab a scone."
A beautiful and truthful poem for love.
"Our love is insanity,
Every word cuts deep,
Losing all my commonsense,
Our love is madness,"
Love will make us know madness and insanity. I enjoyed the flow of thoughts leading to the question. The questions of love are never-ending. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

I liked the poem, the idea of love not being perfect is a great way of looking at it. emotions are always subjective and never truly understood. I would argue that the poem is confusing but i think thats the point really, an allegory for the complications of love.
