Frozen

My heart will never beat again it'll stay frozen so no one can hurt me.

I'm over it aren't you,

Always trying but never achieving, 

Never coming before other's, 

I'll always be the caring one,

but never the one being cared for,

I could never hate some one,

but the way you treate me is as though I'm nothing,

I live to show people the real me,

but then you tare me down,

My heart will remain frozen, 

So cold that even the slightest crack will shater it,

That is the way I'll stay,

Untill I can be set free by th man I love.

I can relate to this poem. Yours words have touched me because it's exactly what I'm going through. In one of my pieces, I mentioned having a frozen heart... not caring about anything. A few people have called me a frozen person... well, I don't know what to think about that. This poem is going on my favorites, by the way!
