A Poem by Zatoichi
"

10:22 pm Monday 3-9-09 SoCal --Sublime talks to my soul and memories --a moment in time and time in motion --there's an ocean in my ears and a painting of the glory of God under my eyelids.

"

i got nonsense syllables on my lips
all da time wocka wocka boom

i think in multiples of 3
and see in the color of pi

i wonder if and when and why and often
times i ponder 'til the dawn's surly light

only to find in the last place looked
my sense- on the second shelf
right next to the oregano.

i've tried to write this poem for years.
-the interconnectedness. the philo-scientifi-theologi-regularism of all the when and why-
... good to know i can stop trying.

Or, if you’d prefer something different, I give you this alternate review:
you know it's good when the deepest things are couched in wocka wocka and sitting there between the oregano and the general theory.

I wrote a poem with the exact same title! Only now I have to scrap it, or start over, or release it like a strand of hair. How does your little spiral uncoil so brightly and so bold in its simplicity? The Force is strong in this one, no doubt.

the only thing missing is your voice . . . do you stand in front of people where you live and share your poetry?

At last! I am Vindicated! Somebody on this planet (besides me and Fozzie Bear!) has used "Wocka-Wocka" in a poem! I would refer you to my, "An Appealing Peel Appeal" for a nice chuckle.
I like the idea here. Many are the times when I felt my senses had absconded, but your use of Oregano makes me wonder whether you might have been alluding to a different "herb"...

Actually, I chose oregano because the "R" in the word echoes that in the previous word "right".
