pocket moon

pocket moon

A Poem by Zatoichi
"

who's to say what's innocent? context is all

"

Once a girl, there, was named Chloe
now here, the name's the same but time
is going, has gone by
and Chloe's older- still a girl but now
wielding a laminated passport to the world of possibilities.

She's funny and loud and free of necessities
in that she simply hasn't any.
She's got her lucky Indian-head penny
wearing a moon in her tiny side pocket.

As she walks home she writes a poem
about your lunar explorations.

I like it; maybe "pocket moons"

as for the verse:
I love the fragmented beginning; it feels representative of all the pieces coming together to form a writer.

I love the title... it seems like you can do so much more with this... I'm just not sure what. It's kind of confusing.
