Fear and Love

Fear and Love

A Poem by Syke

The darkness and the desire;
The love and the fear;
The hate and the hunger.

The passion is all consuming
Twisting inferni
Banishing the light

The darkness encloses
The warmth of a glance
Candles lighting the darkness

Extinguishing and Destroying;
Creating and Shaping;
Something and nothing are as one

Pain begets the joy
Opening the way for pain
Once fallen

never rejoined

Running in circles
Circles of fear
Like begetting like

But twice can be once
Together wars begun
Blinding glow

Glow of embers
Glow of searing pain
Of being one
Of victory
