Live forever

Live forever

A Poem by Syke

We won't live our lives forever
We could live them for one moment
Always seeking a little bliss
Shoving our hands into the fire

You can live life in the fast lane
Everything a blur
Others lose, but you always gain
Until you meet her

A chance to make a difference
In the life of somebody new
You must pay penance
What else can you do

You chose to live your life alone
luxuries galore
You never sought more
But then She chilled you to the bone

You'd give all you own
Slow down life and bcome a bore
Respetable, but never poor
All without a groan

People can be dense
They do not know who
Will make them trully happy hence
Rarely do one and one make two

They'll cause themselves pain
They ignore the debts they incur
Those with whom they've lain
They look for someone special, Her

As the night draw near
Memory returns
Remorse is now born
Happiness was found.
