A Poem by Syke

This Line Is Empty

This line is empty

I don't remember this line

Forgot this line too

Memory

Forgot the poem

Will you ever forgive me

Pretty, pretty please?

Others Views of Me

Others views of me

I find them quite comical

They are so confused

There Is No Box

A little quaint mind

Puts everything in it's box

And yet, nothing is

The Obvious

Some just can not grasp

What is not the obvious

Easily dismissed

McCarthy

McCarthy Era

Hunt for the little red witch

The big red terror

Holocaust

12 million dead

Never forget history

Death is death is death

Beauty and Pain

Pain. Ripe. Blossoming

Like your beauty in and out

A gem among jewels

Be Mine?

Please do not forget

All that I would do for you

If I could be yours

Please (Do Not) Read

I write my poems

Wishing you would just read them

Hoping you will not

Blossoming Youth

Blossoming flower

I just sit and gaze at you

The joy of shared youth

Ineffectual

Ineffectual

Defences of the feelings

How they twist and writh

Lost Memories

Memory now lost

The mind of man so fickle

Here and gone again
