A little LightA Poem by Dr. ZThis poems was written as a guide to my son advising him on how to live his lifeA little light can give you sight
All you may need to cure a blight So take a pause and contemplate Don’t be so worried to miss your flight Seek every joy with due measure Finders aren’t keepers for every treasure When you adventure, when you explore Don’t play with things that aren’t for pleasure Don’t pick a fight that it’s not right Learn to stay quiet, when you have might, All little things that pass you by Hold on to them to get delight When you deliver do it with grace If it’s too tight, don’t run that race Nurture a smile that stays on face To reach the top, don’t cut the base When in a jungle don’t lose your sight I’ve seen things sting which never bite You are not alone in fear of dark Each day I have seen came through the night © 2016 Dr. Z |
