When I read your poems about life, about the things that are happening to us, I feel ashamed for I haven't written anything lately to contribute to this cause.. I am a firm believer that every poet should be involved with humanity, to write about the events that define us as a whole, let it be tragedy or a blissful moment...I guess I just caught up in my on sorrow...
Have I ever told you that your poems remind me of a very old style? Ghazal is the style that would be..~smiles~

Supporting a write on humanity is also an instance of humanity.
So,you are performing your humanitarian role perfectly.
I appreciate your humble words in this regard.
Thanks for the nice words on my poems.
My dear Mr Zainul too true are your words, people need as much help as they can get when ravaged by these natural disasters because they can happen to anyone, and leave us without a thing to call our own.You are very kind to put a voice to this problem.

Very thoughtful write Zainul, a month ago my folks in Orissa (India) were affected by cyclone Phailin. They were lucky to have not been within the direct land fall region however the whole town was flooded. I am thinking of doing a bit of fund raising of some sort.

Thank you Prathama for the spirit of helping cyclone Phailin affected people of Orissa (India).
A very nice circle of thought, it helps to remember that more than words disaster or calamity there and so many individuals feeling and experiencing all manner of things which no-one wishes upon anyone, and community local or global brings us together, especially when most needed. Really fine, Zainul.
Oh my God...This makes me feel somewhat happy inside that someone also wrote something in memory of all those that perished in the Philippines. Personally, I want to say thank you since around me, no one budged or cringed at the sight of what happened back at home. To this day, I still feel sick to my stomach that the ones I had bonds with back there, family, had died. Many still need help and it irks me to no end that the news neglected to mention that ONE island, that ONE island that was COMPLETELY WIPED OUT. No help was being sent there either.

Thanks for your feelings for the affected people back at home.
the style of this is well done...and it is a plea i hear...one of my best friend's husband's parents live in a the phillipines...they were spared luckily...but it is devastating when disasters like this happen...
weather related events...there is no defense.
This is so sad and makes me sick I feel guilty having a glass of water even a soda cracker not being melodramatic I am telling you the truth is so horrible the little children the adults I hope and pray that they get the help they need soon the situation is bad enough without starving and becoming sick or sicker I did send a donation to the Red Cross it wasn't much but as they say every little bit helps if I were able I would be their hands on if for nothing else but comfort and support thank you so much for writing about this thank you

Thank you very much I certainly hope so as will yours also
My heart is devastated by what I can see from here. My prayers are with the people who have suffered in this horrible storm. I have given my offering, and I know that many other people are sending offerings, too.
Thank you for drawing our attention to the tragic aftermath, my friend. Keep us posted.
thank you for sharing this piece with us, by your repetition of the first and last lines you really bring home the desperateness of the situation. Our prayers and funds are with the people of the Philippines. Thank you again
