Chair

Chair

A Poem by zainul
"

The chair is a symbol of life

"

The chair was empty  in the room.

Stream of thoughts started to roam.

What happened to the person?

Where has he gone?

When will he come?

Why the air is so calm?

How  will I know what has happened?

Who is around to tell me about my friend?

The chair is a symbol of life.

It tells about happiness and strife.

We crave for a chair and cheer when get one.

Fate steals away the person as a strange fun.

that empty chair that we long to fill, can be very haunting and we must rest in our faith and in our love and trust in the days we share for one day we well all sit in that same chair

The imprint on a memory can last in a way that chills us. The empty chair can signify loss. The empty table sorrow. Your poem emphasizes the spirit that has left this imprint. Great writing.

You're welcome.
It is funny how some simple items can be important. A simple chair allow can symbol something missed. Thank you for the excellent poetry.
