This reminds me of summers spent down by the river in Poland..its just like that, I see the tall grasses ornamented with dew swaying in a light breeze, the dragonflies, the sound of frogs croaking and jumping, the scent of warm, wet earth and the song of dancing river.

I am also fond of dragonflies.They were my playmates in my childhood.I used to catch the red colored ones and tie a thread with its tail and then fly them in the air like kites.They also resemble helicopters when on flight.

I'm currently listening to the sound of the rain pelting the leaves and the thunder rolling in the distance, I can see the lightning strike and it is truely a sight to see, I like this peace because most write about the sadness rain brings, but they miss out on the happiness that it could also bring as well...

Short but lovely. Frogs sings before it rains too, my frogs do. You describe the atmosphere at my house before it rains, as everything gets calm and silent after the rain.
