Your Frozen HeartA Poem by HyoriA poem I wrote in the midst of some emotional thoughts. It's my first attempt at poetry, so please give me constructive advice! Those freezing hands aren't your fault They carry scars from long before Being afraid to love someone, You turn your back on the words I uttered.
My heart is at the point of breaking Our love was so beautiful before Even if I can let you know my love momentarily But would you just send me back to endure the frigid winds?
Even if fate's game hurts your heart One the other side of your tear-streaked face There is a light that shines through the darkness The one that guides our love to each other.
We can both live in a place frozen in time Someplace that can take away the sorrow and loneliness For you, that place is here in my arms Don't be afraid, don't hesitate.
For anyone to be with you Makes life in this world shine brighter If it was me, I'd warm your heart With my timeless tenderness.
A single ray of light swoops down into the darkness Guiding you towards our love. Fit yourself within my arms Your embraced heart, slowly begins to thaw. © 2009 HyoriReviews
