Before The WinterA Poem by Ernest YungsiWhy wait for the one you love to die before showing love?Darkness has fallen in plain daylight We’re turning on the church lights Dressed in black Front and back
Not a single dry eye can you see Every cheek stained with tears And voices wailing in sorrow As we wonder about tomorrow
The mystery is vast Beyond our understanding But we rest assured, hoping That we’ve bought the best rites
And sure, we’ll meet again In a better place But why wait with love When it can be shared right here? © 2017 Ernest YungsiAuthor's Note
