Born and Re-burn

Born and Re-burn

A Poem by Tabula-Digi

O summer night!
extinguish my passion
on that natal day of mine
burn me with icy fire
smother secrets of life

Hearken!
shrieking, trembling, touching...
with no hesitation, nor struggle
shall I not be anymore Me
day after day afterglow

O lover, a defiant!
you remember that
call me again, in this summer dawn
by that name of motherhood, you write me oft, or
by this name of stone 'n' grass, stranger's manuscript for you?!

behold!
whispering, murmuring, touching...
what you want in me, questing after me, 'tis
little lingering bitter smile of mine?!
"a garden inclosed... a spring shut up, a fountain sealed."
