You

You

A Poem by Zaccaroo

In these awful times of deadly silence,
I thirst nothing but your subtle noise.
In these wretched times of sheer sadness,
I seek nothing but your buoyant presence.

Drifting through this fiery imagination,
amidst all of these unsightly thoughts.
I see you there, standing in the end.
Far beyond my sense of reality.

And thus, I've realized,
that all good things,
and the things we need,
lay out there outside our grasp.

Far beyond our reach.

This is beautiful in all aspects like a wretched fragment torn from the heart that piece of you that was them.

Thank you so much!
Sad when we miss someone and long for their presence. Good poem.
