![]() Brothel HousekeeperA Poem by Zach KnoxIn the corral I auctioned pieces of myself to the highest sinner bidding on my self loathing
each landmark a boundary to a tract of land my longing for solitude you wouldn't understand
of the crowd but sink in the sand not another stick in the mud
loved by everyone but yet loved by too many to be loved by one
will suffice served on ice it burns but warms nice
made up this quilted Frankenstein I swept under the rug forgotten, but the scent it's endurance withstood all the fragrance I spray on me
must now plead someone will come to me someone will be with me to simply grasp my hand pull me upon my feet bring me back down from my cloud to teach me how again pledge to fidelity's only lover , only friend. © 2013 Zach KnoxFeatured Review
