A Poem by Zach Knox

I hold everyone
in contempt

But yet,
I am exempt.

Past feelings awake
in a dream;
I wake in a scream.

And these urges have
begun to surge
If only I find the courage.

To ask you out but
I'm filled with this doubt.

Poetry is my way to cope with the world. I used to write in high school a lot as I was struggling with eating disorder and other mental problems plaguing me. I don't know if it was out of exhaustion.. more..
