irreversible

irreversible

A Poem by Z.Silas

 irreversible

autumn of 1888

no animal is a mistake

my deformities create hate

while the police contemplate

Ill hastily deliver your fate

theres no escape

my emotional state erodes like clay

as I stalk the nights for my pray

street walkers dismay

Whitechapel becomes my display

six women or more

filthy w****s

I cant adore

watching with horror and fascination

destroying beauty with lacerations

the unfortunate my occupation

I am the omega of creation

and the alpha of damnation

I am your salvation

some may call this the destruction of human life

Im just trying to purify the wife

with fear and strife

with terror and a knife

 have no shame for myself

so I name myself...

the Ripper

I am in awe of your ability to explore the deep and dark. I will have to try it sometime, I think. My favorite line was the alpha/omega duo. Very powerful. You captured the sense you were trying to convey very well, and kept the tension clean.
