Black Jesus

Black Jesus

A Poem by Z.Silas

Black Jesus

I c**k and load my black jesus
and remove my god prosthesis
I'm filled with nothing but hate
as I re-debate
the worth of your fate
and the hell I may create
you can only hope it's not too late
I sharpen my smile
as whiskey dilutes my bile
I am the most vile
laying cross bone style
on this godless black mile
I am beyond the choses of men
I am beyond justice and sin
deliver us from evil, amen

You'd take flack from me with the gun being the "Black Jesus"; but being a writer, I see your connection and understand what you say. Hard-hitting. I like this.

Loved the God prosthesis comment. Made me think of the recent shooting sprees and the slaughter of innocents
