Stone throw

Stone throw

A Poem by Z.Silas

Stone throw

I'm tired of these poems
How many times can I cast these stones
How many times can I write about my depression
About my distain for this machine
About my f*****g broken heart
My father
My mother
My rage
My pain
Still a slave to my own artistic shame
I'm tired of these poems
How many times can I cast these stones
How many times can I purge my soul on paper
Pump my blood until the bourbon falls
The burden of it all
The drinks drugs and delirium
My lust
My lack of trust
Rhymes for the sake creative integrity
I'm just so tired of my formation
And the lack of form in my creation
I'm tired of being censored
I'm tired of f*****g cursing
I'm tired of being satisfied
And I'm tired of thirsting
I'm just so tired of this writer's block
And being inspired
I'm just so f*****g tired of being tired.

wow this is really good!! i really understand what your saying too! how many times can you go about writing the same thing, but in a different way? it's crazy, but we will find a way of doing it. i can't tell you how many times i've written about being sad or depressed, but it always feels good to get it off your chest. even though we continue writng what seems to be the same thing, it helps.

anyways though, great job writing this. it was very well writen!
