But We Aren't

But We Aren't

A Poem by Zi

She is the salt in the wound she, herself, made on my heart

She is the thing that can keep me up at night, wondering

She is the reason I cannot concentrate when I'm away form her

She is the only thing that I can see when I am with her

She is the hope I hold onto as each hopeless day passes by

She is the rose, ever blooming and beautiful, amazing

She is the person I wish was always by my side, day and night

She is the one who does not want me

She is
