![]() The Kraken's ReignA Poem by yyyyz07![]() A short poem about the Kraken.![]() In the depths of the ocean, far from human sight There lies a creature of colossal might, A terror feared by sailors on the seas, Whose very name can make the bravest freeze. The kraken, ancient monster of the deep, Whose massive form could swallow ships in sleep, With limbs that reach and writhe and grasp for more, And eyes that gleam with mysteries of yore. No mortal man can fathom its intent, Or comprehend the depths of its descent, For in its heart, lies a power unspent, A force that only nature can invent. With arms outstretched, the kraken waits below, A silent menace to all ships that go, And when it strikes, the ocean heaves and shakes, As sailors struggle in its crushing embrace. No forged weapon can match its massive strength, Nor can mere mortal minds comprehend its length, For in the kraken’s realm, we are but guests, At the mercy of the ocean’s vast unrests. So let us heed the tales of the kraken’s wrath, And know that nature wields a mighty path, For in the depth of the ocean’s timeless keep, The kraken reigns, a force that never sleeps. © 2023 yyyyz07Author's Note
