Two As OneA Poem by Yvonne RemingtonA love poemWithin the center of this chalk drawn heart We finish each other’s sentences. How long has it been?
We give each other room; we found that’s a must Politics and religion we are on the same half
You like chocolate and I like peanut butter Sometimes we disagree and agree it’s bad
Never do we use words that we would foul crimson clover When the day is done, I wouldn’t trade the bad times
And nestled comfortably in this poem that is done © 2013 Yvonne Remington |
