The Shout(A Prayer.) A world of subverted virtues , and a world of acquisitive thoughts , Impertinence to righteousness and the land squeezing with fraught. Is this the world where we were brought ?! Save the men who are on strayed road and lessen the burden of earth which is dying due to plethora of load. Fill the menace hearts with the confectionery as all the decent souls needs you , hear the prayers of my heart that i gaily feed you. You are omnipotent , omniscient and omnipresent , hear my cry , hear my soul , Save this world which is hanging lone. Oh lord! Take this world out from the shroud , oh lord! Hear the vociferous shout. The cry of a molested girl , a ghoul mother of an encountered son, The family petrified of shame , The heavy heart of a youngster giving a thought to change his name. Oh lord! Take this world out from the shroud , oh lord! Hear the vociferous shout. The cry of hungry hearts , The cry of my sordid past , The withering of the decent souls , The justice machinery with a big hole. You are omnipotent , omniscient and omnipresent , hear my cry , hear my soul , Save this world which is hanging lone. Oh lord! Take this world out from the shroud , oh lord! Hear the vociferous shout.
Poetry of lamentation is always attractive and demands a particular form to have its impact. You have found that form here and deliver a message well known to those recognizing the perils of our planet and those hwo live upon it. An excellent work.
Hi Yusuf! No words here! You know what? I always think of writing about this dying world, gasping humanity but I am never confident of finding the right words...coz there's just too much to say. But I am thrilled with this work of yours which is truly complete in doing justice to the subject at hand. The most touching lines:
The cry of a molested girl ,
a ghoul mother of an encountered son,
The family petrified of shame ,
The heavy heart of a youngster giving a thought to change his name.
The justice machinery with a big hole is also pure genius :)
A mature and sophisticated masterpiece and I liked this poem the best out of all your write-ups. My compliments, DN
