The moment was mystifying

 It held everyone spellbound

Not even the passersby

Who witnessed it with their eyes    

Or the lens of a camera

And the skilled photographer

Could so vividly capture

The poignant moment

And portray the truth

Of what actually transpired

 

Yet it’s the pen

That scribbles a couple of words

And reincarnates the scene

The magic of these words

Goes deep into the heart

Even the remote

Can actually feel

The intensity of the moment

And start resonating

With the same emotion

Such is the power of the pen

And the one that holds it

And brings forth the words.
