That Girl

That Girl

A Poem by Saira

She's always misunderstood,
always taken for granted,
never part of the group,
but always been the one,

the lonely one,
heartbroken one,
the angered one,
the only one,

to say what she thinks,
no matter of
the consequences,
she's the one you always know,

the background of the painting,
but she's the one,
the one that's feinting,
as bright as that new sun,

she will shine,
above them all,
and show the true her,
who she wishes to be,

who she's always been,
the person she'll never,
never stop being,
For anyone or anything.
