Knowing you like her and me knowing she has no interest in you

When you act like you know how I’m doing, but you have no idea what I’ve been through.

So how can you like a girl that you barely talk to?

Tell me how beautiful she is

How much you think about her

knowing that she never thinks about you

I’ve liked you for a while

But stepped away knowing you only have your eyes set on her.

I tried liking other guys, distracting myself

But when I’m with you all I feel

Is warmth. When I’m with you it feels like everything is okay. That everything is alright.

But

Every time you talk about her my heart breaks,

but I keep smiling because you’re happy when you do.

I love seeing your face light up when you talk about her. Seeing your big smile.

But the day you tell her that you like her is going to be the hardest day for me

Not because i know what the outcome is going to be

But because of the fact that you’ve never thought about me. The fact that I’m the one that likes you

The fact that I’m the one that wants to be with you.
